“Well I mean I think everybody kinda has that a little bit and I think we all have to some degree, a light and dark kinda dichotomy in our lives, you know? Even if it’s just one day you wake up and you’re in a positive-happy mood and one day you’re in a crappy mood you know? It’s as simple as that.

And I wanted the video to kinda be symbolic of the 2 sides of the personality. Sometimes it feels like, at least for me personally, in my own head I have a dialogue with myself in certain moments or certain decisions or in relationship or my career or in life, or when looking in the mirror. You know we all have things that go on in our heads and sometimes that negative voice is the one that we need to learn how to shut off.

But I think what the video says is that you kinda have to have one and the other get along with each other in order to have a complete personality. Cause there is something kinda cool about the dark side too. Something a little sexy and powerful about the dark side…. And he’s got really fierce shoulder pads too.”
